Publication Updates

The Composite Materials Handbook-17 (CMH-17) provides information and guidance necessary to safely and efficiently design and fabricate end items using advanced materials. Its primary purpose is the standardization of engineering data development methodologies related to testing, data reduction, and data reporting of property data for current and emerging advanced materials.

Volume 3 is currently under revision and is planned for release in 2025.

Volume 7 is our latest addition to the Handbook series and will cover content on non-metallic additive manufacturing with focus on fused filament fabrication and laser powder bed fusion technology. Additional content on other technologies will be updated in subsequent Volume release.
