Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcome 1: Students will develop a body of work surrounding a central theme or concept.
Learning Outcome 2: Students will gain experience in preparing and displaying their work for an exhibition.
Learning Outcome 3: Students will learn how to produce an artist statement, biography, and develop promotional materials.
Artist Checklist
At the time you install, the following is required of you
- All works must be complete and ready for display
- An artist statement has been prepared and is ready for display
- Labels for individual pieces of work have been created and are ready for display
- Consideration has been made for a focal wall or starting point including a signature piece and show title
- You have provided a way for viewers of your exhibit to leave comments on your exhibit
Guiding Documents
The following documents have been created to help you in executing your exhibit. You will find materials that will assist you in budgeting for your exhibit, crafting your artist statement and determining what materials will be needed to install your work. Cadman Staff will review these materials with you throughout the process and are here to answer any questions you have along the way.
