Innovative, Creative Projects

• Teaching/Training Career and Technical Education Pathway agreement with State of Kansas. Launched Spring 2019. Coordinator of this cooperative agreement to serve high school students with a non-duplicative program of study in Teacher Education (Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Teacher Apprentice Program, and Secondary Education) at Wichita State University, College of Applied Studies.   
• Bachelor of Applied Science in Workforce Leadership & Applied Learning, Development of new Bachelor’s degree in College of Applied Studies.  Approved Fall 2018. Currently serving as liaison of Dean’s office in the establishment of program and marketing/recruiting for Fall 2019 launch of program.
• Teacher Apprenticeship Program, Development of new Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education. Launched Fall 2017. Currently serving 415 Para Educators in over 60 different Kansas school districts. Current serving as Program Administration, providing program, advisor, and instructor oversight.
• Social Emotional Learning in the School Community, professional learning series, Wichita, KS. Influencing 15 K-12 educators.
• STEM Professional Partnership Program (SP3) Institute. In partnership with Wichita Public Schools (USD 259) and The Independent School, Wichita, KS. Influencing 32 elementary classrooms and teachers and 1600 students at 3^rd, 4^th, ad 5^th grade level during the time of this project.
