Tessa is studying Media Production and Journalism, and is passionate about photography, film, and writing. She has proudly made the Dean’s Honor Roll for the past three years. Tessa works as a freelance videographer, as well as a writing/video intern at WSU Strategic Communications. Over the summer, she worked as a location scout for Tulsa Film, Music, Arts, and Culture and had took the opportunity to work on a television show. Tessa hopes to use her talents to help her community. She tends to gravitate to whatever fuels her creatively and is a strong advocate for women in film and media. Tessa is grateful to the Elliot School of Communication for the opportunities it provides for her to experiment with her interests and explore her creativity and unique perspective. For Tessa, the wonderful thing about growing up has been the freedom to set the tone for her life.
Tessa’s personal passions include ice skating and listening to all different types of music. She is trained in the harp, drums, and piano and hopes to get back into music when she graduates.
Tessa is excited to join the Widener Global Leaders Program so that she can expand her horizons and get to know the community better. She describes herself as naturally curious and adventurous and enjoys seeing what people in and beyond my major are up to. Tessa believes exploration brings flavor to her life.
