Overview
Peri Widener is a CEO of the GloBil Consulting Group, focusing on providing business insight and advice to global organizations. Prior to it, Widener had an illustrious career (over 35+years) at the Boeing Company where she held top leadership positions of increasing responsibilities in the area of program management, business development and government affairs. She is a world renowned leader in developing innovative sustainment lifecycle management solutions and unique partnerships with customers and industry around the world.
Most recently, she served as the Vice President, Integrated Logistics, Global Services & Support. She was responsible for managing the largest portfolio of Performance Based Logistics programs in the world. She led a 2,500-person Integrated Logistics team in managing and executing key support programs for the F/A-18 Hornet and Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, F-15 Strike Eagle, AV-8B Harrier II, F-22 Raptor, AH-64 Apache, V-22 Osprey, CH-47 Chinook and other Boeing and non-Boeing military platforms. Widener also was responsible for establishing the Boeing United Kingdom Rotorcraft operation located outside of London. She served as the Board Chair for the Saudi Rotorcraft Support Company, a Saudi Arabia/United States joint venture based in Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She has a vast experience and proven success in working across cultures and myriad global business models in Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Europe and the Americas.
Before this role, Widener served as senior company executive for Rotorcraft Support Programs, leading a team of more than 1,000 people worldwide. This team provides readiness and after-delivery support for multiple rotorcraft and other platforms and systems, including the AH-64 Apache, A-6i Little Bird, CH-47 Chinook and H-46 Sea Knight helicopters, the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, as well as support to the Special Operations Command and at U.S. Army depots such as the Corpus Christi, Texas, Army Depot. Widener was previously senior executive for Boeing Integrated Defense Systems in Alabama, where she was responsible for all business activities and operations at the Boeing Huntsville facility and for providing support to other Alabama sites, including Decatur. She recently won the prestigious 2017 National Defense Industrial Association Edward M. Greer Award and has received numerous Army Aviation Association of America awards and Aviation Week excellence awards for logistics excellence.
She holds a bachelor’s degree (Major: Broadcast Journalism; Minor: Business and Piano Performance) from Wichita State University and completed her MBA studies at Seattle University. Peri is also an accomplished musician, a devoted mentor to young people of diverse backgrounds, a supporter of numerous charitable organizations via her Harris Widener Family Fund, and a respected global business leader and volunteer.
