Curt Coffman serves as executive coach for the W. Frank Barton School of Business Executive MBA program at Wichita State University. Through recurring coaching sessions and leadership development conversations, Coffman works directly with Executive MBA participants to help them strengthen self-awareness, lead more effectively and create lasting organizational impact.
Coffman is also the founder of The Coffman Organization and co-author of the New York Times bestsellers First, Break All the Rules: What the World’s Greatest Managers Do Differently and Culture Eats Strategy for Lunch. Widely recognized as a leading voice in strength-based leadership and workplace culture, Coffman has spent decades helping organizations develop high-performing teams and people-centered leadership strategies.
As founder of The Coffman Organization, Coffman provides workplace consulting and executive coaching to organizations around the world, helping leaders engage and develop talent to create enduring competitive advantage. His work spans more than 30 industries and includes partnerships with companies such as 3M, Red Bull, Ritz-Carlton and Charles Schwab. Prior to founding his company, Coffman spent 22 years with The Gallup Organization, where he served as Global Practice Leader for Customer and Employee Consulting and as a senior vice president.
In 2023, Coffman served as Executive-in-Residence for the Barton School, providing mentorship opportunities for students, collaborating with faculty and staff, and hosting conversations with industry leaders. His residency included a keynote presentation titled “The Power of You: New Formula for Growth!”
