Piano Pedagogy


Dr. Meg Gray is associate professor of piano pedagogy and class piano and coordinator of the keyboard area at Wichita State University. In addition, she maintains a small private studio in Wichita, Kansas. Previously, she taught at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and Lincoln University of Missouri.

Dr. Gray has presented at the Music Teachers National Conference, the National Association of Schools of Music Conference and the National Group Piano and Piano Pedagogy Forum. She also performs regionally as a duo pianist. A member of the Music Teachers National Association since 1985, she has participated in local and state chapters in Washington, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas.

Dr. Gray holds degrees in piano performance and piano pedagogy from Seattle Pacific University and the University of Oklahoma.
