Overview

Sierra Marie Bonn has been passionate about making the world a better place since she joined Girl Scouts as a young girl. She recently graduated from Wichita State with a Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology with a focus in Management and a minor in Anthropology. During college, Sierra was named a Stanford University Innovation Fellow, served as part of the Presidential Search Committee tasked with searching for WSU’s 15th President, and currently serves the state of Kansas as Miss Southwest 2020-21.

Sierra is the founder of “Let’s Go Full STEAM Ahead!” a nonprofit dedicated to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) education and engagement to empower the next generation of innovators. Through her podcast and sales of her children’s book, “Innovators: women in history who have made positive contributions to STEAM,” Sierra has created a scholarship foundation to help young women pursue innovative careers.
