Overview

Sergeant First Class Grayson I. Lambert, originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, enlisted into the Army reserves in 1997 as a Combat Engineer (12B). He served as a 12B from 1997 to 2000 before enlisting Active Duty as an Infantryman (11B). During his active duty time, he was stationed in Wurzburg, Germany from 2000 to 2006. He was then stationed at Fort Riley, KS from 2006 to 2008. While at Fort Riley, He was selected to become a Drill Sergeant and was stationed at Fort Jackson, SC from 2008 to 2010. After the trail, He was sent to Fort Bliss, TX from 2010 to 2012 to be a part of the Training Brigade testing new equipment for the Army. Once his two years were over, he was again stationed at Fort Riley, KS from 2012 to 2016 before transferring to the Kansas Army National Guard in 2016. While in the Kansas Army National Guard, he was reclassified to become a Supply Specialist (92Y) and Motor Transport Operator (88M). He is currently in the Active Guard Reserve (AGR). He has 25 years of combined service. He has deployed twice, once to Africa and once to Kuwait. During his career, he has been a Team Leader, Commanding General’s Driver, Squad/Section Leader, Drill Sergeant, Operations NCO, Supply NCO, and ROTC Instructor.
