Robotics and Control Laboratory

Welcome to the Robotics and Control Laboratory website. In the lab, researches are conducted broadly in the area of Kinematic synthesis, Robot Assisted Rehabilitation, Control System Design, and Human-Machine Interface. Our researches have been funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF),  the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the  Kansas Board of Regents, and Wichita State University.

The Robotics and Control laboratory is equipped with collaborative robot and Data Acquisition Systems, including:

  • Universal Robot 5 (UR5) with Robotiq vision and torque sensors.
  • Two Baxter robots
  • Trigno™ Wireless EMG System with Triaxial Accelerometer in each EMG sensor.
  • iWorx EEG system
  • Polhemus 6D motion tracker.
  • NI ELVIS II, 3D printer and Scanner
