WSU philosopher and WSI Coordinater James S.J. Schwartz contributed a short paper, "Space Settlement: What's the Rush?" to a special issue of the peer-reviewed journal Futures.

WSI Coordinator James S.J. Schwartz, as well as affiliates Atri Dutta and Nickolas Solomey, were awarded a NASA Kansas Space Grant Consortium grant to fund a conference and student competitions celebrating the scientific legacy of NASA and Apollo. The event will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

WSU Alum and NASA Flight Controller Steve Carothers will speak about his work at NASA's Johnson Space Center. His talk will take place on Thursday, April 18, at 3:30 pm in 261 RSC.
