Counseling Services
When you are experiencing difficulties, the Counseling and Psychological Services is an appropriate resource. Whether individual, couples, or group and family therapy, our personal counseling staff provides a wide range of services and assistance. Short-term services are provided to enrolled students, and consultation services are provided for faculty and staff members.

Emergencies
If you are afraid you will not be able to avoid hurting yourself or someone else, get help immediately. We have provided a list of resources and guidelines for dealing with psychological or emotional crises -- information that can keep you and others safe in emergency situations.
Community Referrals
Individuals who are not students, faculty or staff at Wichita State University may not be eligible for services at the Counseling and Psychological Services. You may also be seeking long-term therapy, or another service that is not provided through Counseling and Psychological Services. View a list of different community organizations; student and university psychological treatment services; and local, private and community clinics that are appropriate for your situation.
