I have suffered from suicide ideation for years and then after a very rough 2022, I was prepared and ready to act on my suicide plan. I had just enough wherewithal left in me to realize I was in serious danger and needed help, and so I spent several days at St. Joseph hospital recovering from the severe mental breakdown. I have found my purpose now since then of helping others by becoming a life coach and wanting to become more involved in the community to serve as an example of what's possible, be vocal about mental health issues, and show others they are not alone.
