TRIO Disability Support Services (DSS) assists first-generation and/or limited income
undergraduate students who have learning, physical, and psychological disabilities.
Among the services we provide are academic support and tutoring, access to adaptive
computer equipment and other services that enable our students to persist and graduate
from Wichita State University.
Our students’ success is important to us! We continue to provide students with high
quality services to reach their goal of graduation. Our services are offered in-person,
by phone or remotely via Zoom and other online formats. Our office is open from 8
a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are located in Shocker Success Center RM
223. Walk-ins are welcome, after hours are by appointment only. Contact the TRIO DSS

TRIO DSS assists and advocates for undergraduate students with disabilities through
academic support, resources, and services enabling them to persist and graduate from
Wichita State University. Qualified program staff protects the dignity and values
of all DSS participants; encouraging and guiding them to successfully pursue a baccalaureate
degree and quality employment.
