Emergency Building Coordinators

Emergency preparedness is of paramount importance at Wichita State University. To ensure smooth implementation of the university’s emergency operations plan, Emergency Building Coordinator (EBC) and Chief Emergency Building Coordinator (CEBC) roles have been established. These participants are the main component to ensure our campus is prepared to respond to any type of emergency.

Participants will complete the initial training program which will include the general emergency preparedness session, emergency response training, inclement weather training and active shooter training. CEBCs will also lead the preparation of an Emergency Response Plan for their assigned area.
