Campus Master Plan
Wichita State University's new Campus Master Plan was approved in May 2024 by the Kansas Board of Regents, and will guide the management and development of buildings on campus for the next ten years. The master plan is designed to align the physical campus with the institutional strategy to ensure buildings, facilities and infrastructure support WSU’s mission, values and priorities.
Reading the plan
This master plan document is a living playbook designed to be adaptable to WSU's evolving needs within the shifting education landscape of the next 10 years. To accommodate this flexibility, the plan adopts a systematic approach to explore the campus across a range of scales and topics

Archived Master Plans
WSU's archived master plans are detailed documents that outline the long-term evelution of our university. These plans serve as blueprints for future growth and improvements, ensuring that the institution can meet its goals and adapt to changing educational landscapes. Archival of these plans preserves the historical context of the institution's development and provides valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
The histroy of the university's master plans are stored and on display in the lower level of the Ablah library on campus.
