Faculty and staff who reach milestone years of service will be recognized in three ceremonies in September. Length of service is recognized in five-year increments. Employees who reach anniversary dates from Sept. 2, 2012 to Sept. 1, 2013 will be recognized.
Individuals with 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service to the state will be recognized in a ceremony at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, in the CAC Theater. The ceremony is open to the WSU community.
Bender of Twigs, who are individuals with 25 years of service to WSU, will be honored at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, in the Miller Concert Hall, Duerksen Fine Arts Center. The ceremony is open to the WSU community.
Retirees and individuals with 30, 35, 40 and 45 years of service will have an invitation-only recognition dinner and ceremony.
Invitations were mailed to honorees in August, and attendance confirmation was requested by Aug. 23 to Shelly Kellogg at campus box 15 or 978-6122. If you have not sent in your RSVP, please do so as soon as possible.
Individuals with five years of service to the state will receive a certificate of appreciation distributed by division vice presidents.
