Goals and Purpose for Counseling:
To help the student/scholar work through any problems/concerns she or he may have as well as provide a support base to assist in reaching academic/personal goals. The counselor is available to assist the student/scholar with personal, academic and financial concerns that may affect the outcome of the ultimate goal of obtaining a graduate degree, specifically a Ph.D. These goals will be met through weekly meetings with the counselor in conjunction with all other scholarly activities.
