Artificial Intelligence

At Wichita State University, students will encounter artificial intelligence as part of how they learn, create, and solve problems. Faculty and staff use AI tools to support learning in ways that mirror how these technologies are shaping today’s workplaces—helping you practice skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and ethical decision-making in real contexts. Just as important, AI is used intentionally, not as a substitute for learning, but as a tool that complements core academic skills such as writing, analysis, creativity, and problem-solving. The goal is simple: to help you graduate ready to think clearly, adapt quickly, and work confidently in an AI-infused world.
