New instructors face a particular set of challenges including making sure your WSUid and WSU email are right, learning how to login to Blackboard, etc. We have a pre-conference just for these kinds of issues. The ARC Pre Conference is August 14 from Noon-3:30, although you are welcome to come earlier if you need to troubleshoot your WSUid or email account as the doors open at 8:30 for a new GTA training in the morning. Anyone is invited to the ARC Pre Conference, but it is designed for new instructors. If you would like to attend, please let us know on the form at the bottom of this webpage.
Please bring your laptop or other portable devices you use when teaching. You may need a credit card if you would like to purchase cables and/or adapters at cost from our sales room (we sell them at cost, so it's a good opporutnity for you). If you have them already, bring business cards for networking. You may also want a sweater because the Metroplex can get chilly.
