Hello! My name is Amy Belden.  I am grateful to be nominated to serve on Staff Senate. Currently, I work in the Information Technology Services department as the ITS Applications Training Manager.  I have been with Wichita State University for over 12 years.  I started my Career with WSU in the College of Applied Studies instructing Elementary Education majors on how to utilize technology in the classroom as well as assisting faculty, staff, and students with their technology needs.  I transitioned to the ITS Applications Training department in 2015 and enjoy assisting faculty and staff learn how to successfully utilize WSU’s administrative software.

I have had the opportunity to serve on the Staff Senate since 2020, acting as Chair of the Staff Awards and Recognition Committee for 2 years.  I truly enjoyed the higher educational environment and community that Wichita State offers and appreciate the educational experience we provide as a team.  I look forward to the opportunity to continue being a representative for WSU Staff and am honored to be nominated.
