Quasquicentennial: Our 125th Anniversary
125 Years of Innovation in Education
In September 1895, Fairmount College, the forerunner of Wichita State University, held its first classes just northeast of 17th Street and Hillside. Now, 125 years later, we celebrate the ever-expanding role of our institution as a pillar of cultural and academic excellence, a vital engine of economic growth and a positive force in the lives of millions.

Email Signature
Celebrate Wichita State’s 125th anniversary by adding a special anniversary “signature” to your email.
For email signatures it's recommended to only use official Wichita State University and department logos with the registration circle. If your logo does not have a ®, it will need to be replaced with a new logo.
