Who doesn't love free food? This semester, First Gen Success will be offering a prize drawing for students who attend First Gen Success events:
- For each event a student attends, that student will receive one entry in the First Gen Success drawing! Being entered into the drawing is no longer dependent
on attending a minimum number of events. The more events you attend, the better your
chances of winning become!
- Students who attend three (or more) out of five events will receive one additional entry. Students who attend three events will receive four entries, and students who attend four events will receive five entries. Students who attend five out of five events will receive two additional entries, for a total of seven entries to win.
- The prizes available are as follows: Five participants will be chosen at random to receive $100 to spend on meals on campus. These meal cards will be for them to use during the summer and fall semesters (not
for the current spring semester). Once the five meal cards have been won, another 20 participants will be chosen at random to receive one (1) free meal on campus to use.
- Even if you only attend one event, you have five chances to win $100 to spend on meals
on campus, and another 20 chances to win one free meal on campus. Attending more events
gives you even more chances, so we encourage you to attend as many as you can!
Each in-person event will be come-and-go, so don't fret — you don't need to reserve two hours out of your day to attend. Not comfortable attending events in-person? No worries! Each event will have a virtual option so that everyone can participate.
In order to be eligible, students must:
- Attend three of five events
- Confirm attendance via registration and, when applicable, signing in
- Intend to enroll in classes during the summer 2021 semester and/or the fall 2021 semester

Please note that, although each event will have a pre-recorded video component for those who are unable to attend the in-person or virtual sessions, watching the videos will not count towards your drawing eligibility as we cannot identify video viewers. We apologize for any inconvenience.
