Fall 2019 Scholarship Competition

**To be awarded Spring 2020.

Scholarships are awarded to current participants in Student Support Services. Students who were accepted into the program before July 31, 2019 are eligible to apply for Spring 2020 scholarships.

Selection is based on:
1) Essay
2) Program participation
3) Academic Achievement
4) Financial Need
All information will be kept confidential.

Essay Topic:
Share with the scholarship committee three of your goals for the academic year, and how SSS can help you achieve them.

Instructions:
1) Complete all blanks on this application and sign/date the certification statement.
2) Attach a typed, well thought-out essay. Include your myWSU ID in the top right corner
of your essay (Do not put your name on/in your essay). Word count: 300 - 400
3) Submit complete application and essay in the SSS office or electronically to
trio.sss@wichita.edu by 4:00pm, October 31, 2019.
4) Late or incomplete applications will automatically be disqualified.
5) Recipients will be contacted by e-mail no later than November 15, 2019.
