About Me
Hello, I am excited to be serving the WSU TRIO SSS family as the Learning Skills Coordinator/Academic
Advisor. I graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
I plan to further my education and pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work.
My first ever experience with a large, formal classroom was when I attended college several hours from home. I recognize what it takes to go beyond what is comfortable and succeed and overcome new situations. Life is all about adapting, and I love helping students through some of those feelings.
In my current role as the Learning Skills Coordinator/Academic Advisor, I meet with a caseload of students during the Fall and Spring semesters. I assist students with creating meaningful educational plans that are harmonious with their goals. In addition, I walk with the student through their academic journey from orientation to graduation providing our SSS resources when needed.
I am honored to be a part of the wonderful TRIO SSS community and anticipate serving our participants through their academic journey.
