About TRP
After existing as a full-service market research firm in Wichita, KS for over 30 years, The Research Partnership (TRP) has combined its knowledge and experience with the resources of Wichita State University (WSU).
Now part of the Elliott School of Communication, TRP has two co-directors (Jeffrey Jarman, Ph. D. and Lisa Parcell, Ph.D.) as well as Robin Mishler, a full-time research manager. Both Dr. Jarman and Dr. Parcell are active researchers with a wide breadth of work before and after TRP merged with WSU. In addition, they both teach multiple graduate-level research methods courses on market research, focus groups, surveys, case studies, and other related methods. Robin has worked for TRP for more than a decade.
TRP is housed in the Elliott School of Communication in Elliott Hall. Our facility includes the only focus group room in Kansas.
TRP provides a wide range of services to meet any client need, including focus groups, phone, mail and online surveys, one-on-one interviews, and mystery shops. We work with a wide variety of clients, including goverment agencies, non-profits and large and small businesses. We have experience in sectors as diverse as health care, banking and insurance, technical products and consumer goods.
