Campus Traditions Committee

The Campus Traditions Committee is responsible for the promotion of Homecoming and the coordination of its activities during the fall semester. In the spring, the committee hosts Hippodrome, a skit and variety act competition.

 

Member Responsibilities

  • Be a good ambassador of Student Involvement and Wichita State University.
  • Maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA or higher
  • Attend regularly scheduled committee meetings
  • Assist in the distribution of marketing materials
  • Actively recruit participants to compete in Homecoming and Hippodrome
  • Participate in discussions and decision making related to events and activities
  • Plan and support Campus Traditions Committee sponsored events
  • Be available for all scheduled performances and activities unless class conflict. Activities include but are not limited to performances, special events, tryouts, rehearsals and regularly scheduled meetings.
