The Welcomefest campaign highlights events and services designed to help all new and returning students navigate life at Wichita State!

Criteria for a Welcomefest Event

Must submit event to the University Calendar
Must take place during the first three weeks of the academic year
Connect students with opportunities, events, services that enhance their Shocker Experience
Aligns with one of the four learning outcomes designed for Welcomefest initiatives
Sponsored by a university department, group, or student organization
Agrees to track attendance (when possible) and provide a report to Student Engagement, Advocacy & Leadership following completion of event
