Level 1: Opportunity Management (Handshake+)

SCA team:

  • Advises pre-job post
  • Manages events, job postings and applications
  • Reviews job posts and recommends next steps

Level 2: SCA Pipeline Support

SCA team:

  • Creates and executes personalized recruitment plan
  • Assigns account manager
  • Networks and manages branding and advertising
  • Provides semesterly business review (summer, fall, spring)

Applied Learning Model

SCA team:

  • Helps determine needs and creates contract
  • Recruits students* (hired as WSU student employees)
  • Supports throughout student employment

Direct Sourcing

Part-time employment only, Applied Learning and Statement of Services Contractual agreements required

  • Candidates sourced based on job description
  • SCA preps candidates and arranges for interviews
  • Company hires student directly, SCA invoices based on the cost outline in the statement of work

Job First Enrollment

Wichita State/WSU Tech helps generate educated workforce

  • Company identifies and hires candidates with a conditional enrollment requirement for specific program(s)
  • WSU/WSU Tech work collaboratively to ensure the new hires are receiving the training/education outlined required by company
