Our community of over 200 plus student organizations all have profile pages on our platform ShockerSync. Visit this page to browse the different categories of student groups or search using key terms. Once you find a group you are interested in use the "contact" button to connect with a leader. If you do not receive a response within 24-48 hours, contact our Student Organizations team for support.
Inclusive excellence - "Be a campus that reflects and promotes — in all community members — the evolving diversity of society." is goal five of the University's Strategic Plan, Forward Together. The strategic plan is a management tool to assist everyone at the university in administration, academic programs, student services, support services and other operational departments to evaluate initiatives and allocate resources to reach the university's goals.

Outside of Student Engagement & Belonging's programs and services, the President's Diversity Council is an advisory and leadership team responsible for developing, overseeing and monitoring University-wide efforts to achieve Wichita State University's commitment to diversity as a core institutional and educational value.
Wichita State University has several student organizations, such as Asian Student Conference, Black Student Union, Hispanic American Leadership Organization, International Student Union, Spectrum: LGBTQ & Allies, multicultural Greek organizations and affinity groups that provide support and community for a broad range of diverse students.
We have made progress as an institution, but we have much more work to do. Toward that end, we have set ambitious and specific goals related to recruiting students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds.
