Question 3A (From Meeting No. 1): What would make it hard to live out these value statements in a uniform way across the university?

  • We were able to be created because there only needs to be five students to be considered a student organization.
  • The Office of Student Involvement held meetings keeping us informed. Gina Stewart, Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life, has helped me a lot, giving me advice and strategy ideas how to build our fraternity.
  • The university has helped us with training and opportunities to help our fraternity.
    Better emphasis on recruitment.
  • Increase the Supplemental Instruction resources.
  • I would love a greater emphasis on helping with recruitment.
  • They allowed us to exist.
  • OrgSync really helps even though people don't like it. It's nice to be able to use the Wichita State University facilities, although I would like more support from Wichita State University. Publicizing our philanthropy on OrgSync would help.
  • Would also be great if we were able to utilize the facilities for philanthropic events.
  • The university should help support Greeks with our events.
  • The university could provide more parking places near our houses where we don't get ticketed.
  • Ability to reserve our materials has been helpful.
  • Create more efficient parking to allow for more planned events.
  • Help facilitate recruitment.
  • Assist with funding – be more supportive of our events and help us advertise.
  • Loosen restrictions on student groups. “Sober monitors” could by employed for safety.
  • Assist with formal recruitment.
