Returning Adults
If you have not taken a course for a few years, or you have not taken a university
course at all, but you are concerned about personal enrichment or future job opportunities,
you have come to the right place. We want to make your transition to university life
as painless as possible. We offer many general education classes for degree completion,
as well as classes in professional programs such as Elementary Education Completion
Program (BA in Education) and Psychology Major.
Here are just some of the reasons why so many adult students are attending WSU Old
Town:
- Flexible schedules: Late afternoon, evening and weekend classes to fit your schedules.
- Quality education: Classes are taught by WSU lecturers experienced with teaching returning adults.
You do not have to worry about credit transferability to other institutions.
- Variety of classes: General education classes, majors/minors, and professional graduate programs (please
see our About Us page.)
- Small classes: Enjoy our small class learning environment with easy access to your instructors
and great class interactions with fellow students.
- Adult student population: Most of our students are over 18 and some are retirees. Many or our students are
returning adults who after work come to take classes in the evenings. At WSU Old Town,
you will feel right at home being a mature student.
- Convenience: We are currently only 8 minutes away from the Main Campus with free parking and
our office offers most common student services. There is also a free bus shuttle connecting
WSU Old Town and the Main Campus. Parking is free at WSU Old Town with security officers
on duty.
- Student services: Many free student services on site; please visit free student services we offer at WSU Old Town.
Look for classes at WSU Old Town and enroll with us! You will be happy that you did!
