Jan. 15, 2024 — In response to expected inclement weather, Wichita State University will move to remote operations Tuesday, Jan. 16. Critical campus operations will remain open, and employees who support these operations are expected to report to campus. All other employees should work remotely when possible. Classes will be moved to remote delivery. 

Jan. 10, 2024 - Wichita State University moved to No. 2 on the national list of industry-funded engineering and research and development, according to the latest data compiled by the National Science Foundation’s Higher Education Research and Development Survey.

Jan. 9, 2024 -- In response to the current inclement weather, Wichita State University will move to remote operations, effective immediately.

Dec. 14, 2023 - Wichita State University will lead a three-year project to assist NASA’s manufacturing paradigm shift from “factories on earth” to “factories in space.”

Dec. 14, 2023 — Starting in 2024, Juneteenth — a day of remembrance to commemorate the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Texas were notified of their freedom — will be an official holiday at Wichita State University.
