WSU computer science junior wins $10,000 a year scholarship from High Touch

Sept. 28, 2018 -- Zane Storlie, a junior majoring in computer science at Wichita State, has received a $10,000 a year scholarship from High Touch, a Wichita technology company. The scholarship is renewable and honors the memory of Pat Riddle, a WSU alumna and former High Touch employee. 

Fuzzy's Taco Shop coming to WSU's Braeburn Square

Sept. 27, 2018 -- After months of anticipation, Fuzzy's Taco Shop confirmed plans to open a restaurant in Braeburn Square, the new retail complex on Wichita State University's Innovation Campus. Next summer Fuzzy's will join Starbucks and the Shocker Store in the development near 21st and Oliver.

Public invited to WSU Open House Weekend

Sept. 26, 2018 -- The entire Wichita community is invited to a free weekend of events, food and fun during the Wichita State Open House Weekend, Sept. 28-30.

Wichita State AEGD program director wins Dentist of the Year award

Sept. 26, 2018 -- Dean Elledge, program director for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Wichita State, has won the Dentist of the Year award from the Wichita District Dental Society.

WSU event will conduct business capability training

Sept. 21, 2018 - WSU's Kansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) will conduct a training event in its Wichita, Overland Park and Topeka locations to help businesses develop a capability statement.
