March 24, 2021 — Brittany Wojciechowski, a Wichita State University Ph.D. student in aerospace engineering, has been awarded the prestigious National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF), which is worth more than $120,000.

March 23, 2021 -- Media are invited to attend a news conference announcing the 19 high school seniors who will be awarded with prestigious Rudd Scholarships to attend Wichita State University.

March 23, 2021 — Wichita State University has been designated a Voter-Friendly campus by the Campus Vote Project and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.

March 17, 2021 – In 2015, Wichita State began developing the Shocker Neighborhood coalition to engage and empower the neighborhood communities surrounding the University. Since then, the commitment has expanded to include 10 neighborhoods and now engages with the community to provide resources, scholarships, academic support programs, mentoring and additional enrichment programs for neighborhood students.

March 19, 2021 - Wichita State University is taking the next step with its University Village vision by issuing a Request for Qualifications. Located in a designated Opportunity Zone, the University Village offers interested development partners unique advantages including the potential for public-private partnerships, engaged local agencies and location in one of the nation’s top 100 metropolitan areas in population and top 100 cities to live.
