Feb 11, 2011 — By WSU News Services — Wichita State University's eminent organist, Lynne Davis, will give a Faculty Artist Recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Wiedemann Recital Hall. She has invited percussionist Gerald Scholl for a repeat performance of "Black Host," a fearsome piece the two performed together for Scholl's faculty recital in January.

Feb 11, 2011 — By WSU News Services — Vagabond Players Dick Welsbacher, Liz Willis and Ed Baker will perform in a two-night Valentine's Day presentation of "Two Bites: Mark Twain's Diaries of Adam and Eve" at 7 p.m. Feb. 11-12, at Grand Chapel, 828 N. Broadway. Tickets are $30 apiece. Proceeds from the shows will benefit the Betty Welsbacher Leadership Foundation established at Welsbacher's church, First Unitarian Universalist.

Feb 11, 2011 — By WSU News Services — The Wichita State rowing team's 3rd Annual Shocker Sprints Indoor Rowing Race has a new challenge race.

Team members Tapan Thakur, Chris McGlothlin and Amy Lueking (back row); and Amit Karna and Brian Chambers (front row), worked together in their senior design class. Lueking now works as a civil engineer for Professional Engineering Consultants.

Sep 13, 2011 — By Anthony Marrone — Amy Lueking graduated this past December with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. As a student, she worked as a drafting technician for Professional Engineering Consultants before being offered a full-time civil engineering job with the firm.
