 Shocker MINDSTORMS Challenge

Little Circus

Professional Mission

Description:

Have you ever watched a circus show?
A circus involves stunts being performed by many professionals. This year, we are introducing a new challenge to perform a little circus with your robots.Design a robot that can secure a goal after going through the monkey bars, crossing a ramp, and going
over uneven terrain.Does it sound interesting and challenging!!
Scoring is based on how many tasks are performed through the competition. Your robot must begin from the start line and cross a hurdle to make each goal.
A. Monkey Bars
The robots must start from the green line and go over the surface of the monkey bars without touching the area between the black lines marked on the board and make a goal through the goalposts. Points are scored for crossing the hurdles even if the goal is not secured. If the goal is secured, more points are awarded.
B. Ramp
The robots must start from the green line and go over the surface of the ramp and make a goal through the goalposts. Points are scored for crossing the hurdles even if the goal is not secured. If the goal is secured, more points are awarded.
C. Uneven Terrain
The robots must start from the green line and go over the rough surface and make a goal through the goalposts. Points are scored for crossing the hurdles even if the goal is not secured. If the goal is secured, more points are awarded. Robots can use the white space between the hurdles to navigate and turn. The robots must fully touch each hurdle surface to successfully complete the task. The robots can turn around and try as many times as possible before the time runs out to secure full points.
