Marketing intern for Co-op office
What are some of the duties and responsibilities
in the Co-op office?
I have to update the Facebook and Twitter pages with pictures, links and posts to keep students engaged with the Co-op office. I also make fliers, help with events and write newsletter stories about Co-op events and students.
How did the Elliott School prepare you for this internship?
The classes that I have taken through the Elliott School have preapred me by giving me a better understanding of how to write for the newsletter. The digital media courses have no doubt helped me become far more comfortable with marketing tools than I would be otherwise.
What skills have you gained from this internship?
If there is one thing this internship has taught me it is time management. Between my internship, my job at Best Buy and my classes, I have learned how to set time aside for each of those priorities while still allowing some time for myself.
