Gender & Sexuality in Kansas Conference

Each year, the Shocker Sociology works with several co-sponsors across WSU to host a one-day academic conference showcasing gender and sexuality related scholarship happening across our state.
Presentations include original research and other forms of scholarship from any department, center, or discipline associated with a college or university in Kansas.
Our primary goals are to:
1. Create connections and dialogue among gender and sexuality scholars across the state, and
2. Provide an open forum that fosters the transfer of knowledge related to any aspect of gender or sexuality studies.
This venue also seeks to support students at all levels of their academic career in gaining experience presenting research.
