Performance Facilities


Wichita State University's
Performance Facilities is a support division within the College of Fine Arts that was established in 1989. Coordinating all areas of facilities management, including front-of-house operations, audio, and staging services, Performance Facilities provides event management and exhibition support for all Wichita State University facilities and oversees the College of Fine Arts Audio Productions unit. The department’s primary responsibilities are to the College of Fine Arts, most of which is with the School of Music, with additional responsibilities throughout the campus community. There are many occasions that services are provided at any number of on-campus and off-campus locations.

The department’s primary responsibilities are to the College of Fine Arts, most of which is with the School of Music, with additional responsibilities throughout the campus community. There are many occasions that services are provided at any number of on-campus and off-campus locations. In all, the department provides staffing and support for over 1500 events within the course of a year, with a majority of these occurring during the Fall and Spring semester.
