Scholarship Information

In March of each year, the School of Performing Arts considers all scholarship applications and reviews the eligibility of each student. Outstanding students are then selected to receive scholarships.

We offer more than $80,000 annually in undergraduate scholarships to new and continuing students. Additional scholarships may be available for qualifying junior and senior Performing Arts majors.

Most scholarships require that a student has submitted the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Prospective Students

To be considered for scholarships, prospective students must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be admitted to Wichita State University
  2. Be accepted into a Performing Arts degree program (Acting, Dance, Design & Technical Theatre, Musical Theatre, or Theatre)
  3. Have completed the FAFSA

Current Students

Current students who have not previously received Performing Arts scholarships are required to fill out the application below for scholarship consideration, but no additional audition/interview or portfolio review is needed.
