Admission to the Program

How to Apply

The Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program is designed to fulfill the standards for advanced education in general dentistry as specified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. The program is a full-time, one-year program.

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited, North American Dental School. Graduates of foreign dental schools are not accepted at this time.

Admission Guidelines

Deadline

The application deadline is Oct. 1 of each year. Our application cycle opens mid-may each year.

Application Fee

There is a non-refundable $150 application processing fee.

Program Fee

There is a non-refundable program fee of $1,500, a $500 deposit is due with your letter of acceptance.

Salary

The annual salary is $40,000 plus benefits, including the option for health / vision insurance, sick leave and paid vacation. Our resident salaries are supported by Graduate Medical Education (GME) funding through Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.
