Maintaining Status
- Keep your passport and I-20 valid. Your visa can expire and this does not affect your F-1 status.
- Enroll in a full course load at WSU every Fall and Spring term (12 credits for undergraduate
students, 9 credits for graduate students)
- Only one 100% online course, up to 3 credits, counts towards minimum enrollment requirement.
- Audited courses never count towards minimum enrollment requirement.
- Do not work off-campus without authorization
- Avoid any violation of U.S. criminal law
- Follow the required procedures for:
- Transferring to another school
- Extending your I-20 before it expires
- Reporting a change of address to OIE within 10 days
