Important Reminders
- Visit Study in the States for more information about maintaining the status
- Insurance waivers must be filed every semester before the deadline if you have your own qualifying medical insurance and do not want to be charged for WSU’s medical insurance.
- See your academic advisor every semester
- Beware of immigration scams. If you ever receive a phone call or an email from someone demanding money and claiming to be an immigration or tax authority, hang up immediately, even if the caller has personal information about you. Government officials never call or email to demand immediate payment of fees. If you are unsure, contact International Student Services before sending any sort of payment.
- Check your @shockers.wichita.edu. Please be aware that this email address cannot be forwarded to any other account.
- Before you can enroll for the next semester, you will need to complete online international student check-in to clear your Int'l Check-in Hold. Online check-in for Summer/Fall semesters is available in late March. Online check-in for the Spring semester is available in late October. Watch your @shockers.wichita.edu email for additional information.
