HOPE Services
Health, Outreach, and Prevention Education (HOPE) Services advances student success
and well-being at Wichita State University through research-based prevention, applied
learning, and student leadership development. Integrating wellness as a core driver
of persistence and workforce readiness, HOPE Services leads WSU in cultivating communities
of connection and care.
Mission:
HOPE Services utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to promote health and wellness
as well as the prevention of suicide, sexual violence, and substance misuse/overdose.
Our initiatives guide and support the Shocker community in addressing these common
wellness concerns through education, action and collaboration with on and off campus
partners. HOPE Services empowers Wichita State University to cultivate communities
of connection and care.
Audience:
HOPE Services support students, staff, and as well as building community within Wichita
State and external partners.
