Margaret Dechant is Chief Executive Officer and Partner of 6 Meridian, an investment and advisory firm based in Wichita, Kansas. Over the years, Margaret has framed the vision as she and her partners assembled a team of professionals uniquely qualified to assist clients with sophisticated financial needs.
In September of 2016, Margaret and her partners successfully broke away from Morgan Stanley to launch 6 Meridian and the team of 20 now manages over $2B in assets. In 2019, 6 Meridian was recognized as one of “Wichita’s Best Places to Work” as voted on by personnel within the firm.
Commitment to community is a top priority and Margaret has volunteered time for many
organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas, Youth Entrepreneurs, and
The Kansas Humane Society.
In 2014, she was recognized as one of Wichita’s Top Women in Business; in 2017 she
was selected for the Wichita Business Hall of Fame and is an alumna of Leadership
Wichita.
In their spare time, Margaret and her husband, Todd, are avid supporters of the Kansas City Chiefs and Wichita State Shockers, and enjoy travel to the beach, the mountains and all points in between.
