Overview
In addition to Damon Ward's responsibilities as Spirit’s Vice President, Corporate
Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, he also serve in the following areas:
- Past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Kansas Society of CPAs.
- Member, Dean’s Advisory Board, W. Frank Barton School of Business, Wichita State University
- Member, Wichita State University School of Accountancy Advisory Board
- Board and Finance Committee Member for Child Start, Inc., a non-profit with the mission
to provide early childhood development services that prepare children for lifelong
success
- A member of the board of director’s for Spirit’s PAC and charitable organization, and a member of the investment committee, retirement committee, compliance committee and mentoring alliance program within Spirit.
Outside of professional activities, Damon enjoys travel, cycling and landscape photography.
