Overview
Leo Yang will assume the role of Assistant Professor at Wichita State University in August 2023. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Professor at Southeast Missouri State University from August 2018 to June 2023. Leo Yang holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Miami and has an undergraduate background in Electrical Eng.
Dr. Yang's teaching and research interests are primarily in accounting information systems and financial accounting. He is also interested in incorporating in his teaching the emerging technologies in the accounting profession. Dr. Yang published in several well-regarded academic journals, including Contemporary Accounting Research, Accounting Horizon, Journal of Information System, Journal of Business, Finance & Accounting, and Journal of International Accounting Research. He received Journal of International Accounting Research Best Paper award for the 2023 award cycle.
