Aisha Waite is Department Chair and Assistant Teaching Professor in the Medical Laboratory Sciences. A graduate of Friends University and Wichita State University, her teaching responsibilities include  Immunohematology (Transfusion Medicine), Clinical Laboratory Management, Medical Immunology, and Impact of Disease on Global Events.  She is board certified  as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology since 2001, and joined the Wichita State University as faculty in 2021, bringing twenty-four years of experience in clinical laboratory.
