Various activities are planned as part of the ATRC to maximize member benefit and make progress towards the goals of the collaborative. Current ATRC activities are supported in part by Envision and the EECS department at WSU.  See the News section for details of the activities conducted and scheduled for the future.

Colloquium Series

The ATRC is interested in inviting renowned researchers and speakers on the topic of accessibiity and inclusion. Every year ATRC will bring in speakers to present their ideas and latest research to the ATRC research community. Each speaker will have an opportunity to visit member research labs and organizations and build collaborative opportunities for the future.

Annual Research Showcase

Researchers working in member labs/organizations will have an opportunity to present their latest research annually to other ATRC personnel. This showcase will allow undergraduate and graduate students to practice their presentation skills and gather feedback on their work, while allowing each member organization to learn more about what the others are doing.

Education and Outreach

Member labs and organizations can share educational content created for use in each others classes and courses. The ATRC collaborative will seek to pursue grants to develop and offer new classes related to accessibility and inclusion.

Research Grant Proposals

Members labs and organizations will be encouraged to utilize the opportunities created by the other ATRC activities towards pursuing joint research grant proposals with one or more of the member organizations.
